Cross over the bridge and start walking along the right bank of the estuary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walk for about 2 km until you come to a wooden bridge - but <strong>don\u2019t cross it<\/strong>!\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue along the path to the right and then take the path to the left until you see a wooden signpost that shows you which path to follow \u2013 you\u2019ll have to go down some <strong>wooden stairs.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In no time at all you\u2019ll soon reach Kortezubi, and from the path you\u2019ll be able to see the Church of Santiago above you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If we continue along the same wooden walkways, we will reach Gautegiz Arteaga and the Bird Centre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"list-3 wp-block-heading\"><strong>The way back<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>On foot<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OPTION 1:&nbsp;<\/strong>Head back along the same path as far as the Renter\u00eda Bridge.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OPTION 2: <\/strong>Head back along the same path until you reach the wooden bridge (3 km from the Bird Centre). This time, cross it! Take the path to the right in Forua and visit the Roman settlement.
